We have gotten the results counted for the elections. You may thank a certain meerkat for the delay, who barged in and demanded a recount when we were initially prepared. We will not do another recount, thank you.

The new mayor of the City of Paixao is Marcus Praetoris. It may take us all time to transition.

[Private to Timon]

Timon, I would like my pen back, if you'd please.

It is finally Election Day. Thank you, again, for your patience. Voting will be held all day at the offices at I8. Please arrive with your certificate of citizenship in hand; you may still apply for one at the same location.

If you have any questions, do feel free to ask.

Elections will begin in a few days. Any last minute runners please comment, and we will continue, as always, to allow guests to register for citizenship.

You need to be a citizen of Paixao in order to run or vote.

Thank you,

I, Shantotto, have decided to also run for mayor.

Now, hold on just a moment and allow me to explain, before you become a naysayer.

Why, do I think I am the one for the job, you may ask?
Well, I assure you all, there's no one greater up for the task.

My knowledge is vast and my intuition is keen. Not to mention I'm, quite frankly, the most powerful black mage you will ever have seen.

For many long years I was a minister of Windurst, during the time when the Crystal War was considered to be at its worst. I traveled far north, in temperatures of the lowest degrees. In that terrible cold, I was there when the Shadowlord was brought to his knees.

This is why I am clearly the number one choice for this position.

And with that, I wish the best of luck to my dear opposition.

Citizens of Paixao, it's been a difficult time here, I know. Through it all, one person has been with you. One person has been there through the hard times, the good times and everything in between. One person has gone out of their way to keep you informed and in good hands.

Ladies and gentlemen, I'd like to take this time to officially announce that I'm dropping out of Paixao's mayoral race and supporting that singular person of questionable moral compass but undeniable cunning:

Timon for Mayor!

I know what you're thinking. Sure, he's short and he's got a mouth that won't quit, but he's been around longer than most of us. He knows the game, friends, and I'm willing to put my money on the experienced horse. And if you're worried he won't have the walk to back up his talk, don't stress: I'll personally offer my services to keep him in line and the rest of you protected.

Whether he likes it or not.

Thank you for your patience; we are now fully prepared. If you wish to run for the position of mayor, please reply to us here, and you can begin your campaign whenever you choose. Remember: you must be a citizen of Paixao in order to be considered an official candidate.

If you still wish to register you may, as always, come by our temporary offices at I8. You will need to fill out and submit our application for citizenship.

Elections will be held at the end of the week at noon in the same location.

Feel free to ask any questions regarding your campaign or the elections themselves.

For new arrivals, please refer to my previous message addressing the city's situation.

Thank you,

mayoral secretary

((Feel free to just fill out the citizen app and submit it. No worries lol. It is easier that way.))

PAIXAO – it has been long since the passing of Mayor Oturo Heirwidthal, and the city has continued on without a mayor in office. Despite our losses with City Hall, this should not stop us from electing a sixth mayor into the City of Paixao. A new guide is needed to stand before us and lead our citizens out of darkness.

For those who were not around at the time of Mayor Heirwidthal, he provided our city with exceptional aid, bringing in new technology and setting up the journal system that all of Paixao has benefited from. It is only unfortunate that he passed on before his studies in inter-dimensional travel was able to flourish…

But we must move forward, beyond his days.

We are now opening up mayoral elections.

Be advised, in order to run for mayor you must be an official citizen of Paixao. With City Hall out of our control, we have set up office with the building formerly known as Clan Centurio, located at I8 on the city map. The process is simple, and you will receive a certificate of citizenship after you apply.

More details in regards to citizenship will come shortly.
