Attention, citizens and guests of Paixao:

Despite the recent string of unfortunate events, please let me assure you that Paixao is a peaceful place. Our citizens are making every accomodation possible for you, our guests. Apartments are being emptied, and soon you will be allowed to apply for them. We are making further expansions to our schools so that all of those eligible can attend.

Paixao is a land of tradition, however. It is hard to believe that we are almost upon our centennial year. Our founders did not expect much when they set foot on this island, expecting only to live in isolationist peace. But we have had our highs and lows, our periods of economic growth and bustling trade, and it is due to all this that Paixao is what it is today, and can accomplish all these things. We must never forget that.

Therefore, it is my pleasure as mayor to invite you to our 95th Annual Foundation Day Festival. Admission, food, games and entertainment are complimentary, and catering will be generously provided by the Ersesat Company. However, because of this, I must ask everyone who plans to be there to RSVP in this post, so that our caterers will know how much food to prepare.

Though most of the fair is free of charge to everyone, this year we will also be holding a paid raffle, to help raise funding for our research into offworld transportation. The winner will receive his or her choice of prizes, the nature of which will be given in more detail at the event itself.

The festivities begin at the Jogo da Crianca Fairgrounds in three days' time, and I am also planning to attend. I hope to see all of you there.

Alright I want answers!! Who the hell are these black robed folks? I saw two in a matter of minutes... or more... whatever. The POINT IS! ...What right do they have to push me the hell anyone around, eh?! None! They don't seem like citizens of Paixao... so who the heck are they? How could they know the workings of this city?

Attention all Paixins... Paixaonies, Paxories? Oy, what were they callin' them again? ...Paixaoans! -yeah, that's the one. *ahem* This is your newly elected moderator speaking; the one and only me! And it is with high spirits I boldly accept my new duty of taking care of all you little people out there. Unlike that lousy, good for nothin' mayor, I will be answering your questions and dealing with both new and old visitors to the island.

Now then, as your royal person, leader, CEO, and... Eh, basic, good old fashion moderator I have but a few simple demands:

First, I would like peace and harmony amongst all the Paixaoans of the island. -yeah, that's good. And second, I'd like a million dollars. Or pearls... Or clams, something expensive.

Actually! Why don't you give me the million clams first, and we'll do peace and harmony amongst all the Paixaoans second? That works well.

-Oh! Yeah, and third, I want a full body fur brushing every morning with a nice, stiff bristled bush.

...you know, now that I think of it, why don't you give me the clams and the fur brushing first and second 'cause their easy ones and third we'll do the peace and harmony amongst the paixaoans stuff.
