[aaaaand here comes the Doctor, bright and cheerful despite the circumstances]

It's clear to me that a lot of us are in need of some fun right now, after everything that's happened recently. The city falls, we're kicked out, a lot of us have run out of tea... [he pauses with a little sigh, as though reflecting on the abominable tea shortage]

It's also occurred to me that I'm getting married. Again. I know the invitations have been sent out... sort of, but I know you're all just dying to know, when will this fabulous event be held?

[a dramatic pause and then]

Soon. Very soon, in fact.

Hello everypo--one. Everyone.

So, I believe I have some information pertaining to the tragedy that happened here a few days ago...

You see... I-I think I might have had something to do with it--NOT on purpose! Not at ALL!

I had no idea at the time this might happen and even then, what I did--it couldn't have been the cause; there's no way! But... I still have a feeling it contributed somehow.

This... guy said I might be able to help him with something and gave me a place to meet him. He said he suspected there was something mechanical in the walls and ceiling and asked me to use my magic to make some holes to check. He said he'd come back and fill them in after, so... I did what he said. I didn't see anything suspicious though. I was SUPER careful about where I checked...

A few hours later, the domes were falling. I'd like to believe it was a coincidence, but I don't think it was. I couldn't be.

I did everything I could to help, but... still. The whole city's now in ruins...

I'm so sorry everyone.

【 FILTERED FROM THE ORGANIZATION | KNOWN VILLAINS 】

It has come to my attention that while my bowtie wearing fiancé might know many a folk to invite to our joining ceremony, I do not. And, I am not fully aware of whom he has invited. That being said, the best solution to this awkward issue is this:

YOU ARE ALL INVITED TO THE WEDDING OF
THE DOCTOR
(the lad with the affinity for bowties)
AND
SEXY
(the woman living with the lad with the affinity for bowties)

There!
Problem solved, I should think!

…although that only resolves the one awkward issue.

Another is that I haven’t the foggiest whom will even conduct the ceremony. Does anyone know where I can attain one of those earthling priest persons? Or someone else who can perform such a task?

Huh. Just when I thought everything weird happened in Manhattan.

[There's some gravelly-sounding grumbling and cursing accompanying the sound of the journal being fumbled with for a moment.]

Since I'm about 90% sure this ain't Earth, some answers about where and what the hell this place is are gonna be needed. [A thoughtful pause.] Preferably, answers from folks who aren't like the damn dummies here who repeat the same five sentences no matter what you ask 'em.

If ya feel like socializin', the name's Fury - Nick Fury, Colonel in the U.S. Armed Forces and former director of SHIELD. I found myself here through what I've figured out to be the 'Vanaheim' gate.

[He stops again to think for a moment.]

Until I see evidence contrary, I'm assuming this whole popsicle-stand is a prison masquerading as something else entirely.

[his voice is quiet, his tone still, but despite this, the anger is quite obvious by the way his words tremble slightly. He takes a deep, slightly shuddering breath before he speaks]

I assume that most of you have seen the new information that's come to light. I'm not sure when this started, or exactly why this started, but one thing is inescapably clear: this all needs to stop. All of this. The experiments, the disappearances, the arrests. All of it. And we need to stop it ourselves. I'm sure some of you already know what I'm going to suggest, and some of you might already be ready to suggest it yourselves. Maybe some of you did, before I got here.

We need to stand together. We need to be strong enough and brave enough to weather the storm that's ahead of us. The longer we stand idle, the longer this goes on, and the more people get hurt - and I, for one, am not willing to let this slide. We have to gather together, and I think you all know exactly what I'm talking about.

Oh, I'm angry. I've never done that before, not as this me. I honestly have no idea what I'm going to do now, or what's going to happen. [a shaky laugh emerges]

Anyway, who's with me? We can have meetings and get into group hugs and everything. [despite the lightness of his words, it's clear he's deadly serious about gathering an army, even though he - barely - refrains from saying it]

[the voice that sounds over the journals sounds casual and almost amused, but there’s a definite, barely restrained annoyance and disdain to it] So this place is called Paixao, is it? I must say, you have a lovely city here. It’s just a shame that I had to visit it against my will. I… hope that you don’t plan on keeping me too long. I’m a busy man, and I’m already a little late for an appointment. I'd hate to keep my guests waiting, and I’d rather not ruin any potential relationship we might have when we've only just met.

I must say, I do like this little device here. The vocal recordings are a nice touch. Though it’s a little strange that a quaint little place like this would have something this advanced when you seem to barely have electricity, don't you think?

Anyway… I hope you people can point me toward the people in charge, as the person at the gate wasn’t the most welcoming when it came to information. I’d like to issue a formal complaint--sooner rather than later.

[the recording begins with a loud clatter, and a desperate cry in Yorda's usually soothing voice can be heard] No!

[and then there's the sounds of struggling, as though Yorda is fighting with all her might to break free, and of heavy, sure footsteps and soft, dragging ones on strange earth. And there's a terrified gasp and a quiet sob - Yorda again - and the noises abruptly vanish.

Many more moments of relative silence pass, with only the sound of soft winds rustling through crystalline leaves, until the distinct sound of a curious chocobo picking at something - probably journal keys]

Kweh!

[and suddenly, the recording cuts out]

Is there a mechanic in this city?

Does anyone know where I could find an automail mechanic while I'm here?

What is this place? It doesn't look like Earth exactly and it's not Galaluna. This is bizarre. I may need to turn on Manus just to be safe.

[fiddles with something but nothing louder happens...a few taps on a glassy surface]

Come on, you piece of junk! Ugh, I need to use Manus right now! Maybe the electronics are jammed.

[wave crashes in the background]

Or maybe I got it wet. Stupid, Lance! I guess I'll have to adapt again. I just hope Ilana and Octus are safe.

[An energetic, youthful voice crackles on the message board, broadcasting to anyone who'll listen. It sounds rather annoyed, though that quickly changes to enthusiastic amusement]

Alright, when’s this? This isn’t where I set the coordinates. The air smells… off. It’s an artificial world, isn’t it? Ah-hah, so that’s it. Right, then. I'm the Doctor; what seems to be the problem here? And don’t tell me there isn’t; I know trouble when I see it, and this is definitely troublesome. No, not the end of the uni – ah, maybe. But that’s alright, I’ve done this before, I’ll do it again. It’s the universe; something’s got to happen. So, then, what is it? Is there despair? Danger? Is the tea getting cold? Blimey, I hate it when that happens.

I can reset the TARDIS coordinates to five minutes past Amelia later. This is brilliant! New-old world where something’s not quite right; classic.

Alright. I've been thinkin'. We ain't got a damned sky here, but that ain't a reason t' not try anyway. Can't get anywhere if ya don't try, right?

So what I guess I'm sayin' is - who else out there's got experience with airships?

Where are you guys?

I guess people are supposed to use this board to get information?

I’m looking for a man named Sephiroth.
Long silver hair, giant sword. He’s kind of hard to miss. If anyone knows of his whereabouts then I need to know right away.

I’m not really sure how or why I ended up in this city. But it doesn’t matter. I find him and settle things with him, and then I’ll be able to go back home in peace.

I was wondering if there was anyone around here who had experience in interfacing mechanics with the human nervous system. My prosthetic limbs are very close to breaking down on me entirely and I really need new ones. The ports they fit into are still in good condition and will translate nerve impulses into something that a machine can read, but the limbs themselves are nearly shot. I thought, being that the visitors here come from so many different worlds of varying technology, I might be able to find a mechanic that could build me a new set.

For your convenience and by way of potential payment, I can fabricate virtually any inorganic material and simple organic compounds quickly and without waste. I can also fabricate parts if you tell me exactly what you need, but I don't have the mechanical expertize to actually put something like this together. If there is anyone with the ability who would be willing to help me, I would greatly appreciate it.
