Who do I have of Clan Centurio left? AndrAIa disappeared... and so did Terra. So theoretically that leaves me with Rosette, Fran and Makoto? Man. You guys looking for something to do? Now that HQ is back in... one piece... I'm not spending all my time trying to fix the damn place. I'm not thinking any crazy stuff like trying to break into city hall, but maybe we could deal with this so-called 'Heartless' problem or whatever.

What's the deal with those, anyway?

And always, if anyone's got interest in Clan Centurio, just drop me a message.

Attention dear citizens and visitors of Paixao,

Such a pity the mayor met a rather untimely end. But, well, all things must come to an end, mustn't they?

However, where there are ends, there are also beginnings.

There is a new order here in this city.

I, Maleficent, Mistress of all Evil, lay claim to this city. My will is now law.

Any who dare to oppose shall be dealt with swiftly and with no mercy, but let us hope it should not come to that, shall we?

A little girl by the name of Nina has been kidnapped by The Organization. I don't think I have to tell you she's scared and, unfortunetly, hurt. This is the Organization we're talking about here. Her friend is currently looking for her. Is there anyone out there who could help him... Help her? She's just a little girl.

So. ♥

I was talking to Timon~. He's so helpful. I have a list. What sort of list? Here's part of it.

Can anyone guess what this list is? ♥

To My Adoring Public, People, animals, and whatever else it out in the audience tonight,

It's been awhile, hu? I've been pretty busy, probably like the rest of you with everything that's been goin' on in the city lately. Those monsters stompin' about are turning out to be a real handful. I've heard there's quite a number of folks tryin' to take care of them out there though. Here's hopin' the best for them. If you're not familiar with Sin, you should direct yourself to the post made here by my good 'ol pal. He's got quite the history on them. He's the guy you're gunna wanna go to if you've got any questions about 'em.

Another guy made a useful post on the message board concerning missing people recently. We haven't had one of those since the kidnappings so you might want to take a look at it here if you've lost someone or are looking for somebody. There could be someone out there looking for you without you even knowing it.

Not much has changed regarding the Organization since I last checked up on them. It hasn't stopped some people from speaking with them either. Go figure. They're still a threat and as dangerous as ever. They're a manipulative bunch of liars who care for no one but themselves. Heartless and Nobodies are also considered dangerous. To avoid sounding like a broken record player, whatever that is, my last post has information regarding both the Organization and these Heartless and Nobodies. If you haven't checked it out, it might be a good idea.

So the big thing on the agenda today is the recent news concerning the citizens in Paixao. Apparently guests like us can, and have
turned into citizens. I'm talkin' about your hair turning blonde hair, your eyes blue, and your memory of life outside the city gradually fading away. Citizens are seemingly shy 'bout the subject and afraid to share much information, but more then one case has appeared in the city. I'm not too sure what could of become of the animals in the city, but I have my guesses.

In all the time I've been here, and it's been quite some time, trust me, I've never seen anyone make this transformation. But who knows how long citizens who claim to have once been guests have been here. I'm hoping to find out more information about this soon and, as always, will
accept any new information involving anything you think could be important.

I think that's about it.

You Know Who

I realize there have been many posts on the journals and otherwise as of late...asking about where their friends and family could be. Seeing as some of these can be buried under other journal entries, it would keep all of Paixao more organized if there could be one master entry for all missing persons.

I have taken it upon myself to aid people looking for their friends and family here. If you'd like, you may post here with a description and/or pictures of your loved ones that you're looking for. (I can make do with either.) If they arrive here and I spot them, or someone else sees them, I'll inform you of their arrival. Your name would be helpful so I may contact you quickly.

I'll do this for free, if there are no objections.

There will be a list kept here, updated daily to make sure that everything is kept under control. If possible, I may update it even more frequently. If anyone sees these people, please tell me so I may strike their name from the list and inform those looking for them.

List [as of 8/18/08] )

[ooc: yeah, you can link to previous journals or posts if your character doesn't feel like rattling off descriptions to L. the man's keeping himself occupied by helping the public. do as you please, paixao!]

PAIXAO-- Citizens and esteemed guests of Paixao, it is with great sorrow that we inform you of the untimely passing of Oturo Heirwidthal, celebrated Mayor of Paixao. Rest assured that the police force has closed off the office and we are looking into the cause of his death at this time. Any details that we gather on the situation will be forwarded to you as soon as we are able to give you the information.

Fifth Mayor of Paixao since the city's founding, Oturo Heirwidthal, 52, performed great services for Paixao during his ten years in office, bringing innovation and protection to this city when other Mayors failed. Mayor Heirwidthal was the first to bring new technology to Paixao, setting up the journal program for citizens and guests alike to utilize as an unparalleled resource in the city. His funding for the research of inter-dimensional travel has sparked hope among the people of the city, especially for our guests who find themselves stranded here.

The past ten years have been delightful ones with Mayor Heirwidthal to guide us, and he will be greatly missed.

Roses are red, violets are blue;
   Think of the things you've yet to do.
The lily is pale, the ivy is green;
   Think of the things than you haven't seen.
The crocus is purple, the clover is peach;
   Think of the things you've yet to teach.
The jasmine is white, the marigold, amber;
   Think of the things one must remember:
Roses are red, violets are blue;
   Everything's possible, nothing is true.

Attention, citizens and guests of Paixao:

Despite the recent string of unfortunate events, please let me assure you that Paixao is a peaceful place. Our citizens are making every accomodation possible for you, our guests. Apartments are being emptied, and soon you will be allowed to apply for them. We are making further expansions to our schools so that all of those eligible can attend.

Paixao is a land of tradition, however. It is hard to believe that we are almost upon our centennial year. Our founders did not expect much when they set foot on this island, expecting only to live in isolationist peace. But we have had our highs and lows, our periods of economic growth and bustling trade, and it is due to all this that Paixao is what it is today, and can accomplish all these things. We must never forget that.

Therefore, it is my pleasure as mayor to invite you to our 95th Annual Foundation Day Festival. Admission, food, games and entertainment are complimentary, and catering will be generously provided by the Ersesat Company. However, because of this, I must ask everyone who plans to be there to RSVP in this post, so that our caterers will know how much food to prepare.

Though most of the fair is free of charge to everyone, this year we will also be holding a paid raffle, to help raise funding for our research into offworld transportation. The winner will receive his or her choice of prizes, the nature of which will be given in more detail at the event itself.

The festivities begin at the Jogo da Crianca Fairgrounds in three days' time, and I am also planning to attend. I hope to see all of you there.

Thank you,

The Mayor of Paixao

Zetsu! Karst!
Where the heck are you?
I thought you were coming to meet me, not make me wait for you until i die of starvation!

Attention Citizens! This is your- ...is this thing on? Eh, testing! Teeeeeeesting! ... Oh, it is. Ah heh, heh, heh...

As I was saying. This is your one and only, absolutely sensational, greatly praised and adored moderator: ME! It's been awhile since I've, ha ha, blessed you all with my presence. Unlike that other Mook, the so called 'Mayor', I've been keeping collecting information on the current cases of missing citizens and other events while he was probably off on a vacation.

You know... I could really go for one of those 'bout now. Spend a day out in the sun, just soakin' it in... This stuff is way tougher then I thought it'd be. -EH! Not that I'm havin' any regrets or anythin'! I'm on top of things, totally know what I'm doin'. I don't need no vacation to stay my best!

*ahem* SO! Let's get back to business, shall we? We still have many missing and kidnapped citizens. You should be keeping an eye out for any of the listed and report any information you might have on the kidnappings or missing cases to me personally.

It's official that the organization is behind these kidnappings. Also be on the watch for them. Do not trust them. Do not speak with them. It's for your own safety. These are the same 'people' who have our eight kidnapped victims locked away and are hurting them. They are best identified for their black coats. Any further information on them will be accepted.

Remember: Be on the look out for suspicious activity. Don't travel alone and spread the word of these disappearances to keep everyone informed.

...tellin' me how to do my job. Pffft, like I don't know how to...

There really ain't a moments peace in this place. As if the recent kidnappings -which I am still looking into and accepting any information for- wasn't enough we are now facing some kinda wave of amnesia.

Numerous Paixao... eh, Paixaoans, are not only forgetting where they are, but who they are. If you are with anyone suffering from this 'amnesia', you should... Uh... Well, I guess remind them who they are n' all that important. I don't know. Do I look like a doctor? Oy... How can you 'be on the watch' for amnesia, anyway?
08 May 2007 @ 04:35 pm
Citizen of Paixao, it's me again. I'm still waiting for my payment for my expertise, at least that fur brushing, just to remind you. The position is still open to anyone who would like to take on such an honor.

But, eh, that's not what this bulletin is about. We got, believe it or not, more important matters at hand. Yeah see, it's recently come to my attention that there's been a lot of disappearances lately. A lot citizens have just vanished; on their own or right in front of people. Others kidnapped by... Larxene.

Everyone should be on the look out for suspicious activity. Don't travel alone and spread the word of these disappearances to keep everyone informed. Anyone with information should report it to me immediately. We've gotta get to the bottom of this.

What is WRONG with this place? Everything is fake!

Or more importantly, where IS this place? Its not in the Fire Nation OR Earth Kingdom OR any Water Tribe village I've ever seen and I'm pretty sure there aren't this many people alive in an Air temple... And that's all the places there are!

Back to this place; These people all have weird hair and their clothes are all different colors! What kind of cultural unity and elemental identity do you accomplish with DIFFERENT colors?

Something is just not right about this city.

I am aware that while I was on a short trip, my secretary has used my journal, but still was unsuccessful in preventing the outburst of a post such as this. Please, feel free to read such a post, on contrary to what my secretary has written. However I would like to note with what kind of ignorance and desperate individuals those who do take the post must be. Certainly, I myself would not want a mayor who wishes for a pampering and knows little about the works of the city-- much less acquainted with the security around here, may I add.

I will not tolerate individuals barging in and out of Paixao, claiming to be the new mayor. Things are as chaotic as they are with recent events and it would be best for everyone if such outbursts did not occur in the future.
23 April 2007 @ 04:22 pm
Due to the rash actions of several foreigners, now more than ever, Paixao needs a police force. In addition, other more polite foreigners have pointed out to my office that they need 'help'-- which might or might not be handled willingly by the new local police force.

Now, I am sure that all of you are wondering about the location of these local police offices that I claim to have created around the city. The red marks the location of the newly found police stations that are currently established. As you can see, there is one at each gate, and a larger one near the center of the city. The smaller ones have officers who are assigned to make sure that new foreigners properly follow the rules and regulations. Those that to not will be taken to the center of the city-- our 'jail', for those of you that are familiar with the term. It is, in addition, Paixao's police headquarters. Please note however, we will not tend to the smaller whims of foreigners: although, we will take it under consideration.

Anyone (including 'foreigners') who is in need of food, or any other material can try to 'trade' for it at a police station. I am sure that at least several officers can be convinced into having such a trade in exchange for manual labor.

Questions that are RELATED to the topic stated can be directed to this post. Please refrain from the idiotic comments as in the last 'free-for-all' post that I made. Thank you for your cooperation.

The Mayor of Paixao speaking.

Firstly, I would like to welcome all of those who have been in Paixao. The greeting is probably late for many of you but... I hope that you are somewhat enjoying your stay here.

My secretary has informed me that several of you have filed complaints regarding Paixao. Because of the mass number of them, I think it would be much more efficient to answer questions and complains using the Journal Message Boards. Through this post, comment with any questions and/or complaints and I will try to respond to them.
