So, I'm hoping you all might be able to help me out. I'm looking for something, however it isn't a person, as some of you might be rather used to seeing on here. What I'm after is a bit different, you see.

I'm searching for knowledge. Information as it were.

I want you all to tell me everything. Everything and anything you've noticed about Paixao. Now, I don't mean the information the welcoming committee always relays, I've heard most of that now, although I suppose it wouldn't hurt to have a bit of a repeat, but that's not really the point of this. What I'm really after is anything that seemed strange, or just a bit out of the ordinary. Even the most insignificant detail that you thought was odd, but just shrugged it off as being a figment of your imagination or nothing important. Because, you see, it could be important! Any little speck of a clue could mean something!

Now, I know what you're all thinking. Why do I want this information, right?

Because, I don't know about the rest of you, but I don't particularly like being stuck in one place for too long. I have places to be, things to do and all that! There's quite the mystery about this place and I intend to solve it, so I can be on my way. Come on then, I know what you're thinking now. How does this lone man intend to figure out what's going on? Why does he think he can figure out what no one else has yet? That's what you're thinking, isn't it? Well, that's easy: It's because if there's anyone who can solve this, I can.

Explanation for the confused!

I know I must not be the only one around here who's bored~ I'll tell you all a little story, and maybe you'll forget about your boredom for just a little while. ♥

Once upon a time, long ago and far away, there lived a witch. This little witch fell in love, as many humans do. However, this witch fell in love with a demon--a king, in fact. This witch believed that everyone had love, even demons. So the demon king and the witch were married, and they loved each other very much. For a time, they were happy.

And then they had a son. ♥

Now, the witch wanted her son to grow up to be loving and good, so she always scolded him when he acted badly. And one day he got very sick. So sick that he was going to die! The boy's parents were worried, and nobody could find a cure for him. The witch knew how, though, and even though the demon king tried to stop her, the witch loved her son so much she was willing to go through with it anyway: sacrificing her life for his.

So the witch died, and the boy was saved by her love.

But then demon boy decided that love was why his mother had died, and so he stopped believing in love.

Poor Laharl, so convinced his mother died because of love that he rejected it entirely. It makes what she did entirely pointless, doesn't it? ♥

My name is Mia Fey, and I'm posting to this message board because I've spoken to a fair few people lately, some new to Paixao and some who have been here for a while, who want to know what this place is and why we're here. My friend Diego--Godot, he calls himself, who already posted on his journal asking for those who have answers to speak, wants to investigate this city, and I intend to help him. Others I've talked to are doing or intend to do the same. Some of us are doing this to get back to our worlds, some of us simply want answers--personally, I'm interested in staying in Paixao, and it's alarmed me to discover that people sometimes randomly, or seemingly randomly, disappear. I want to know the laws of this world, how it works, and I'm sure many of you want to know the same thing.

It occurs to me that we might be of more help to one another if we know who to talk to and share our answers with. These journals might not be the best place for doing so, since anyone can read them, and from what I've observed from comments, the veterans of this city have hinted that not everyone in Paixao is entirely trustworthy. But is there a network that meets face to face on occasion to compare investigations? And if not, would anyone be interested in forming one? At the very least we may benefit from recording where people come from and when they arrive, and looking for patterns. There are hundreds of ways to go about investigating Paixao and, I'm sure, hundreds of answers to be found. It's my hope that we can find the answers we want a lot faster by helping one another.

So this is a space to talk to everyone here, right?
Is anyone out there from Germany or Amestris?
Does anybody have a tally going of how many worlds people have come in from?
Has anybody charted out whether some worlds are alike to others or share historical events?
Does this city have a library or university?
Is there a hall or records?
Where can I research the history of Pai Xao?
Is there anyone who knows anything about inter-world travel?
Is there any continuity between the worlds people are coming from and the gate they came through?
I would appreciate having any of these questions answered, thank you.

Long story short, I'm looking for someone.  She's a viera.  Goes by the name Fran?  White hair, dark skin, tall, and with rabbit ears.  I have the feeling she'd be easy to spot in a place like this.  If anyone has seen her, I'd appreciate being told.  Fran, if you're here, tell me where you are.  I'll meet you there.

Also, I have a question.  Does anyone know if there are any hangars in this place?

Hellooooo~ adoring public! It's me: your amazing, spectacular, absolutely extraordinary king moderator here. Givin' a shout out to all my fellow 'kats out there and you citizens.

As you know, I've been keeping track of the recent events involving kidnapped citizens. Victims endured... Many means of torture while locked up in separate small cells by the organization.

After several days, however, we are beginning to see members of those kidnapped appear back in the city. Some look to suffer from some form of amnesia (not as strong as the one that was going around awhile ago) that prevents them from remembering anything from the events that took place while they were imprisoned. Others (who may or may not remember) physical, mental, and/or emotional damage.

If you see any one of our kidnapped eight, don't hesitate to lend a paw n' help 'em out if needed. Be sure to approach with caution, however. We're not completely sure about everything the organization has done to them.

Speakin' of which, known members of the organization seem to be growing. Another just arrived here a few days ago. Unfortunately another rather 'friendly' one. -They also all have an 'x' in their name for some reason. Am I the only one who noticed that?

There really ain't a moments peace in this place. As if the recent kidnappings -which I am still looking into and accepting any information for- wasn't enough we are now facing some kinda wave of amnesia.

Numerous Paixao... eh, Paixaoans, are not only forgetting where they are, but who they are. If you are with anyone suffering from this 'amnesia', you should... Uh... Well, I guess remind them who they are n' all that important. I don't know. Do I look like a doctor? Oy... How can you 'be on the watch' for amnesia, anyway?
