So, I'm hoping you all might be able to help me out. I'm looking for something, however it isn't a person, as some of you might be rather used to seeing on here. What I'm after is a bit different, you see.

I'm searching for knowledge. Information as it were.

I want you all to tell me everything. Everything and anything you've noticed about Paixao. Now, I don't mean the information the welcoming committee always relays, I've heard most of that now, although I suppose it wouldn't hurt to have a bit of a repeat, but that's not really the point of this. What I'm really after is anything that seemed strange, or just a bit out of the ordinary. Even the most insignificant detail that you thought was odd, but just shrugged it off as being a figment of your imagination or nothing important. Because, you see, it could be important! Any little speck of a clue could mean something!

Now, I know what you're all thinking. Why do I want this information, right?

Because, I don't know about the rest of you, but I don't particularly like being stuck in one place for too long. I have places to be, things to do and all that! There's quite the mystery about this place and I intend to solve it, so I can be on my way. Come on then, I know what you're thinking now. How does this lone man intend to figure out what's going on? Why does he think he can figure out what no one else has yet? That's what you're thinking, isn't it? Well, that's easy: It's because if there's anyone who can solve this, I can.

Well, I have picked up a bit here and there, I must admit, but I still don't know all that much yet about it.

Well, I'm not sure what you have and haven't heard already, so I'll start at the beginning, I guess. Paixao's on an island, but more than that it's in a whole other world from mine or anyone else's here. How we got here, nobody knows, and no one knows how to leave, either, yet. I've heard here and there that the Mayor and the citizens were working on a solution to help us, but nothing seems to have come of it, especially since he was murdered.

But... people have been disappearing, nonetheless. Some of them we know were kidnapped by the Organization, and... really badly tortured, suffice it to say. I don't know for sure how many of them managed to escape.

Others haven't come back at all... quite a few of my friends among them. I... we don't know what's become of them now. Maybe the Organization took them, too, but I don't know for sure.

Er, what else...

That's a lot of what I can think of off the top of my head, but if I think of anything else I'll add it on, if that's all right.

Y'know, I hear the real reason people disappear for good is because of somebody else kidnapping them, besides the Organization. I dunno what they're after, but they could be in the city right now. But it's impossible to tell when or where they'll strike next. One minute your friends are standing right next to you, and the next second they're just gone, bam! I've seen it happen.

Ah, blond and blue haired, right? Hard not to notice that, isn't it? Everyone perfectly blond. No brown or black, or even ginger. Smoke and weird noises? Can you describe any better than that?

Oh, map. There's a map on the journal device. One of the buttons brings it up. Can't tell you exactly as the journal models seem to vary a bit, but you should come across it if you keep trying.

The food is the hardest thing I've been coping with, honestly. They've got... everything. Or at least, quite a lot. Especially with this many people that keep arriving? How the heck do they not run out?

Was talking to someone... she thought about them importing, but from where? If there was somewhere else out there across the waters - one, wouldn't we see them import? And two, wouldn't that Mayor have told us?

It's just too weird. It's not like we see a giant delivery of food appear at the gates in a line of people or anything.

Maybe that's why I think the food tastes like crap... it bothers me too much. Hn.

Where does it come from indeed. It is possible it could be a food replicator of some kind, but I haven't seen anything like that. Although Paixao does seem to have some rather interesting technology. The journals and the weather system, for example. It would have to be quite the operation for them to hide such a system and then ship the food all around the city...

From what I've been able to scan, it doesn't seem like there IS anything else out there. Not that I can pick up.
