Yep. Settling into those bogus homes of yours, I’d say you’d just about given up. And here I thought you’d have a little more fight in you, all things considered. WAKE UP TIME!

Do you know how good it feels to actually get a full week's rest? Why couldn't I have done this sooner? Oh yeah, the drums. They hang around, but now it's like a soothing sound. Could say I've grown to love them. HA! No nightmares, no waking to a cold sweat and a drum beat. I feel like I could eat three cows worth of meat, but I'm awake. If I were human, I'd do this all the time. Phew.

This information troubles him greatly--enough, obviously, to eschew his typical cloak of anonymity] While taking a look through documents in my possession, I've come across something... curious. It’s come to my attention that I really have no idea what I’m doing here. Not ‘here’ as in this place — although, yes, that as well — I mean here at this present moment in time.

Specifically here.
This moment.
Right now.

What I am doing right now, in this moment, specifically here — is attempting to plan a wedding. A blue wedding — it has to be blue, no exceptions — but so far all these books are lacking with blueativity. That is, blue creativity. The only things I’ve managed to find are traditional things that are needed, something borrowed, something blue, something old and something new.

Well I already have something borrowed, that would be the groom — although I’m not sure if I would call it borrowed or stolen, either way my Thief will do.

The something blue would be the wedding itself, blue. Blue I tell you, no exceptions!

Something old might as well be myself, I am more than ‘over the hill’ in age as the human saying goes…

Something new, though… Would the experience count as new? …Bah!

Does anyone know how to plan a wedding? I would ask my Thief, but I’m sure he doesn’t have a clue.

[the recording begins with a loud clatter, and a desperate cry in Yorda's usually soothing voice can be heard] No!

[and then there's the sounds of struggling, as though Yorda is fighting with all her might to break free, and of heavy, sure footsteps and soft, dragging ones on strange earth. And there's a terrified gasp and a quiet sob - Yorda again - and the noises abruptly vanish.

Many more moments of relative silence pass, with only the sound of soft winds rustling through crystalline leaves, until the distinct sound of a curious chocobo picking at something - probably journal keys]

Hello everyone! It's the Doctor here. ...the one that doesn't eat fish custard or wears a bow-tie. The one that was here first.

Right, so, just to get this out of the way now-- No, I'm not sure where my future self has gotten to, but I doubt there's any reason to be alarmed, well, not too much anyways. Not yet. You see, if I--he is in some kind of trouble, well, he's rather good at getting out of trouble. So there's no reason to panic. [Though he's saying this, there is a faint concern hidden in there.]

So, yes, where was I? Ah, right. Me, being here first.

You see, when I arrived here I was in my TARDIS. It's been sitting at low power for some time now, but there was a reason for that. Now that we've been here so long, I was able to use the power she's managed to store up, along with some modifications, to get the scanners, well, scanning. Scanning beyond the castle, to be exact.

And, well, that's the good news I'm afraid. Bad news from here on out.

[The Doctor's tone shifts at this point. He's serious... very serious, and obviously a bit bothered at what he learned.]

There's nothing out there.

No, it's not that they aren't working, believe me, they're working. There just was nothing to scan--no planets, stars or even strange anomalies. Just... emptiness.

Now, I wasn't able to boost the scanners enough to determine just how large the dimension we're in IS. It's possible we could be in some sort of pocket universe. Or there could be some sort of barrier, but the scanners should have picked up anything like that. Or, well, it's hard to say until we find out more about where and what this place we're in is.

I really do wish I'd had good news. We're about due for some at this point, I'd say.

Guys! There’s a large group of treacherous heartless, nearby City Hall right now. And Remus and I are stuck, because THEY CORNERED US AND WON’T STOP ATTACKING!! Awwo, this is bad, this is really bad.
