....You mean you've never heard the actually important part of the myth? That's rather careless of you. How can you expect people to take you or your name seriously if you don't even take it upon yourself to know what exactly it entails? You chip away at your own credibility through ignorance.
Regardless, some associations can be apt, even if they are unintentional. Were we correct in any of our earlier speculation?
Then you should have been more specific, and taken into account what other people might have thought of the aspects you ignored. We personally would suggest that you change to "the Dark Belle"; it might imply that the bearer is feminine, but you do have a hint of a feminine appearance, it has no legends or flowers associated with it, and it seems to match up fairly well with what you wanted.
Fine except for those more knowledgeable than you seem to be; the only problem with it is that it suggests femininity--even though the word is, in fact, gender neutral.
As silence tends to confirm guilt, we will simply assume that we were correct, either in whole or in part.
We suppose so. Though incidentally, it probably does fit more closely with the image you want to present to yourself; Adonis was a beautiful young man. Belles are thought of as beautiful young women (or people, at that) who are gracious, charming, popular, and sophisticated.
