[An energetic, youthful voice crackles on the message board, broadcasting to anyone who'll listen. It sounds rather annoyed, though that quickly changes to enthusiastic amusement]

Alright, when’s this? This isn’t where I set the coordinates. The air smells… off. It’s an artificial world, isn’t it? Ah-hah, so that’s it. Right, then. I'm the Doctor; what seems to be the problem here? And don’t tell me there isn’t; I know trouble when I see it, and this is definitely troublesome. No, not the end of the uni – ah, maybe. But that’s alright, I’ve done this before, I’ll do it again. It’s the universe; something’s got to happen. So, then, what is it? Is there despair? Danger? Is the tea getting cold? Blimey, I hate it when that happens.

I can reset the TARDIS coordinates to five minutes past Amelia later. This is brilliant! New-old world where something’s not quite right; classic.

Oh, blimey. Well, that explains a thing or two.

Early days? Well, I hope so. Obviously regenerating was going to happen eventually, but, well, can't say I'm particularly looking forward to it--no offense.

That it does, but would you look at this! Big old field, and not a single person outside the dome. Well, aside from those waiting to get in. That means trouble, which means I won't be bored! [laughter] Oh, this is gonna be tricky.

[sounds rather amused] Oh, yes. Very tricky. More than enough trickiness for two of us.

Donna's here, by the way. ...As is Rose. She just appeared here herself. ...Again. She was here before, but I don't think she remembers.

That happens a lot here. People vanish and return. Sometimes they remember being here, but more often than not, they don't.

Donna? [cautious] How is she? And Rose? Blimey.

There's something behind all this. What about the Organization? Someone mentioned them, but I don't think they know much. Not enough, at least.

She's brilliant. Absolutely brilliant. As for Rose... she sounds alright. I haven't really spoken yet properly.

Yeah, she is. [softly, a bit nostalgic] Just you wait and see.

Well, get on with it! You'll have to speak to her sooner or later.

Right, the Organization... Strange lot, they are. They have rather interesting abilities and can travel through these "dark" portals. They seem to be the most likely candidates for being behind this somehow, but how or why hasn't exactly been made clear.

Well, you don't have all day, do you?

Dark portals? What dark portals? And what abilities? Are they human, alien?

I think I'll have to go and have a chat with that lot, then. What are they like?

Well, I haven't make her reply any faster, can I?

Only saw one once. Nothing we've ever seen before. Well, one I met seemed to have some kind of control over time. They're humanoid, but, well, they call themselves 'Nobodies'.

Not the sort who'll want to sit down for a cup of tea, I can tell you that much. At least, none of the ones I've seen around. One by the name of Larxene has a particularly bad reputation.

Just as long as you're not dragging your feet. You only live once, right?

[sarcastically] That doesn't sound ominous. I don't think I've ever heard of them, though; not the first time, but it's been awhile. [he sounds considerably more enthusiastic at that]

Maybe I'll have some luck, then. Reputations aren't everything.

No, we haven't heard of them. There's a lot here we haven't heard of.

...You caught on yet, by the way?

That's new. Well, not new, but it hasn't happened in a long time. [laughs] First day, and look at me! Already in trouble! Brilliant!

Yeah, I have. And here I thought you were pulling my leg. I think I'm gonna like figuring this one out.

Well, I suppose I would have thought so too. Rather brilliant though, isn't it?

But, none-the-less, they're here and definitely seem to be very, very real. I haven't figured out what exactly Maleficent is up to, but she's been teaming up with other villains like Jafar and Hades. ...that's really never going to stop sounding strange. Talking about Disney characters like that.

This place is like some massive crossover fan fiction.

I think I'm gonna like it here.

That's not good. If they're teaming up, I'd guess Maleficent's the brains of the outfit, and I really never thought I'd say that seriously. We'll have to watch out for her.

Oh, don't talk to me about fan-fiction, you're making me think of Jack.

Oh, I'm quite sure she is. I haven't found out exactly what she's up to yet. You know those types. They like to leave it all to the climax to reveal their plans.

[exasperated] Of course. And the next thing you know, they'll have a monologue about how effortless it's been for them, how feeble our attempts to stop them are, et cetera.

Bit like the Master, then.

Yeah, I 'spose so.

[Sounds of banging, tugging, and stomping] Blimey. How long's the TARDIS going to take in a place like this? D'you know?

Can't really say exactly, but if I had to guess, well, it could be awhile. My TARDIS isn't anywhere near full powered. Lucky really she's got any power at all.

[The Doctor's tone gets a bit dark as he quietly addresses the TARDIS]

What's this place done to you?

She might blow up, at this rate. And look at me! I don't even have a screwdriver.

What did you do with it?

[pauses, then]

I regenerated.

[pounding can be heard over the journal]

No, no, no! Don't do this!

What? ...Doctor? What's going on?

Something's wrong. She's not repairing the way she's meant to.

[addresses his younger self, quiet but intense]

What exactly happened to your TARDIS when you came here?

That's just it, nothing happened. Just materialized and was here.
