It has come to my attention that people belonging to or associated with the above listed organizations have recently entered the city. Upon consideration, it seems in the best interest of all involved to meet with myself or a duly appointed representative regarding possible employment options.

ShinRa corporation does not exist in this world, but I personally see no reason that we cannot continue to work as a cohesive force. For those lacking faith in my continued sanity, I offer a meeting, unarmed, at a place of your choosing.

The reports of my death have been vastly exaggerated. Though, I have heard about the incidents you refer to.

I can assure you, I am quite sane. Those incidents have not yet happened to me - and knowing of them as I do, I have my doubts as to whether they will.

Temporal paradox, I believe the phenomenon has been called? When one person from the past and another from the future meet? At any rate, I offer my apologies, Cid, for events that have obviously been my fault in your past. I stand firm, however, on my belief that, knowing of them as I now do, they will not come to pass. It may be a very different world to which we return, when all is said and done.
