[Intro]

[Shenzi scowls at the journal.]

Ok, what the heck is this? And where is everyone? WHY am I here? Where are Ed and Banzai?? Someone had better answer my question or there will be trouble!

[Unless you’re bigger and have really sharp claws, then you’re allowed to take a pass at the answering thing.]

Another question, yeah I still got ‘em: What are all these furless upright creatures all around here? Can I eat ‘em? They don’t look like no animal I’ve ever seen before, and I don’t even know if they can fight back! They don’t have sharp teeth or claws. Weird. I’m real hungry, I think I’ll try to take one down to see how it tastes, I hope it tastes good because there sure are a lot of them.

[Well, you're certainly not a creature he recognizes. Interesting. A very different type of laguz from some alternate Tellius? ...Wait. Maybe that sounds a little far-fetched. He sounds somewhat amused.]

The trinket you speak into is what is known as a journal. Very useful when navigating the city, as well as long distance communication...

Humans by the way aren't worth the trouble to hunt down. It's better to gather the shiny leaves and show them to those who serve better entrees. For it's so much easier that way. [Naesala knows so, being the scavenger he is. He'd eat just about anything--being a raven and all.]

Take a look around. You'll notice the plant life is fake. Atop the trees and bushes are gold leaves. Collect enough of them, and they'll give you a full course meal without complaints. So ridiculously easy, if you choose that boring option.

The ones that live around here won't be able to stop you if take what you want from them, regardless. They're rather skittish, and don't have any fight in them. [He speaks like he's higher than those Walkers--to which he knows he is. In either form, full-on blackbird or as he is now, he's quite intimidating to those featherless chickens.]
