Okay, so this thing is like a PDA then, is it? It's not so bad once you get used to it...but still weird because I don't normally talk to people I don't know. Or post, I suppose I'm posting, aren't I? Sorry, I'm new here and this is all a little much. I'm not usually asked to post things.

Anyway, I'm Rory. I imagine you must get this a lot but I'm looking for someone. Someones, maybe. One would be a woman with gorgeous red hair and answers to the name Amy. She's my wife, by the way, so please don't try anything. Second, a man with a bow tie and goes by...just The Doctor. I know they tend to run off but I don't think they'd ever pitch me out of the TARDIS and then disappear.

So, yeah, if you could give me a start on that I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.

[he sighs] Believe me. If anything happened to her...no, I'm not going to let anything happen to her. [he bites his tongue before saying 'again']

[pause] Good.

[He sounds considerably more cheerful now] Now that we're settled, Rory, was it?

[hesitant] Yes?

Nice to meet you, Rory. Well, sort of. But still. Are you staying anywhere?

Nice to...meet you too. And no, I just got here.

Tell you what. Since we have a mutual acquaintance, maybe it'd be better for you to stay close by.

Uhm, thanks? I mean, considering you don't know who I am and all.

No, but you clearly know me, and if there's one thing I love, it's a good mystery. Besides, I've been hopping around on my own a while. Gets boring. I start talking to myself and everything.

Yeah, you like an audience.

That's got nothing to do with it! Talking to one's self is the first sign of madness, you know.

Yeah, I know. But sometimes when you've got no one around it's just nice to hear a voice even if it's your own. [He doesn't remember much of his time as a plastic Roman but enough to know that he talked to himself and boxed-up Amy a LOT]

Right. [sounds grateful that he understands] Because then you start thinking too much, and then the thinking gets turned around, and the next thing you know you've come up with thirty implausible theories regarding the life-spans of chickens.

Or is that just me?

I can't be sure...I don't think I ever thought about that though.
