The fog... I wonder what the cause is. Where's it coming from? There's nothing natural at all about it.

At least not where I'm from.

They don't have fog where you come from?

....... Oh, yeah, you're the American guy! Now I remember.

I'm Osaka! Well, my name's Ayumu Kasuga, but everybody calls me Osaka.

Yeah, that's what everybody else says too. Yukari-sensei even called me that on my transcript, I think.

Yep! She was my homeroom teacher, but then I graduated.

I've seen nothing of this sort before in my own world.

From what I've seen of this city, there are only a few light bulbs in the first place. Paixao doesn't seem to have much use for electricity.

A fog machine may well be the culprit, though in a place where so few things are natural, it would be difficult to tell just which one of them would be the source.

There is no way to be certain.

It warrants investigation, though I fear I may not be the best at doing so myself.

Considering the effects said phenomena appears to have on the residents, I suggest it may be something from Halloween Town. Have you considered such a possibility?

Then again, new patrons are arriving daily. It may be that one of the new arrivals is, purposely or not, having an effect on the atmosphere of Paixao. Given the number of various and strange worlds other citizens hail from, it doesn't sound so far-fetched.

I'd be cautious as far as explorations go. I've heard there's some rather nasty bogies running around Halloween Town, and that's not counting the indigenous population.

-Luxord paused a moment, scratching at his goatee thoughtfully.- I'd suggest you not go alone, just in case. As for the individual scenario, I've been looking into it, myself, but without much information on a number of Paixao residents, I've hit a dead-end. This place is far to big to keep track of.

-His own expression was rather casual and nonchalant in the dark ruby dress-shirt he wore, but there was a thoughtfulness about it when the photo changed.-

-A low chuckle rumbled heartily from the Gambler's chest, somewhat amused by his caution. Luxord, of course, wasn't about to mention to this boy that Halloween Town was more whimsical than frightening under Jack Skellington's rule.- A wise decision.

Oh? How very thoughtful of you, though I'm not positive I'll have the chance to accompany you. I'd very much like to go, so let me know a few days in advance if you could, and I'll have a more definitive answer, then.

That's perfectly fine by me. I've got my own business to attend to, so it seems the fates have worked in everyone's favor this round. With any luck, yet, our schedules will match up.

Well, Jake, my name's Emlen. A pleasure to make your acquaintance m'boy. I'll keep a look-out for you, eh?
