Attention: Maranda Soldiers, General Sephiroth

By order of General Chere, any and all of the Empire's soldiers present with the city are to respond to this post immediately, after which they are to await further instruction from myself. They are not to antagonize or injure the citizens, visitors, or wildlife in this city. They are not, in any way, to damage city property. Violators of these orders will be dealt with accordingly. Heed my orders and all shall be made clear in time.

Citizens and visitors of Paixao, if any soldier of the Empire should violator my orders, you are welcome to report the incident to me.

My sincerest apologies to General Sephiroth for my earlier...disappearance. A day has passed and I have only just returned to the city. I would appreciate it if you would contact me at your earliest convenience.

Now is not the time for indecision. If it really has been two months.....this "Setzer" may be a shady character, but he did admit to being a gambler before he made his offer. Whether he is or is not from my world...it couldn't hurt. Whatever his intentions, they may become clear in the future. I can uncover them myself, if the need arises. For now, I'll keep a close eye on him.

I cannot promise you much in the way of pay at this time, but you will get your fair share of competition, Mr. Gabbiani. I accept your offer.

You have my word that should he and I ever meet in person, it would be the furthest thing from my mind. Gambler or no, that's one gamble I don't plan on taking.
