[a deceptively proper-sounding and feminine voice sounds over the MB, sounding both amused and more than a little confused]

Snow, falling beneath the domes? I must admit, this is not at all what I expected. But then, I wasn't expecting this place at all, I was expecting Wonderland. It's lovely; certainly better than that dirty snow in London. But what could possibly be causing it? [despite the slight playfulness of those words, Alice's tone is dry and sarcastic] Perhaps a snowman somewhere had a cold.

Several of you have been here far longer than I. Is this normal?

You must be at least the fourth person to ask me that. I'm not certain. There are people here who appear to remember me, but I don't know them at all.

Heh, sorry. I guess that's one thing you can always be certain about with Paixao; you can run into the same people, but they won't always remember you.

...Funny, there hasn't been much talk circulating about them lately, I don't think. But recently... [she trails off]

They're bad news, that's for sure. You used to be able to tell who they were by the black cloaks that they wore, but either they've adapted, or they've been in the city less. Who knows.
