[there's a shrill, babbling voice of a worried mother meerkat cutting across the board]
I knew it, I knew it - why did I give him so much space? Why did I keep my mouth shut? It seemed something good to try at the time but but - he's gone! He's been gone for so long and he hasn't come back and he always came back except now! He's not coming back this time, I just know it. And I don't even know where he went... Timon, all alone out in this frightening jungle!
[long, quiet, jittery pause... and then a hitched sob]
He's dead. My little Timmy is... is dead!
[because Ma totally has all the evidence for this. yep.]
