I can see from this...message board...that I am not alone in searching for a friend. With this is mind, my hopes are low...but have any of you seen a woman named Farah? She is the daughter of the Indian Maharajah...a tall, beautiful, capable archer.

It is quite possible she isn't even in this land, but I must be sure this is not the case. Please--if any of you have seen her, tell me. I will of course, reward you in any way that I can, although I am only a stranger who awoke here recently without any coin.

I'm afraid I haven't seen anyone matching that description, but I'd be the first to admit I don't know everyone here. I could keep an eye out for you if you wish, though.

As for the local currency, the natives her seem to take very nearly anything in payment, provided that it is shiny - I've heard of people paying for things with the local foliage, for example.

Regardless, thank you. This news eases my mind; it is quite possible, even probable, that Farah is not in this land, and your information seems to confirm this.

She may end up arriving someday, but it would most likely be best to not expect her arrival any time soon. There seems to be very little rhyme or reason to anyone's arrival here, unfortunately.

I've heard rumors of people returning to where they came from, although they all seem to be completely unplanned.

As to what manner of place this is, even I don't know the entire truth and I've been here for quite some time now. However, what I do know of it is neither encouraging nor comforting.

What do you mean? This place...no, the inhabitants appear to be living; you cannot be speaking of the sand-creatures...or the vizier...

But what, where, and when is Paixao? And what relation does it have to the Sands?

Someone, somewhere in this place must have this information. If there are as many sudden arrivals as you say, then it cannot be a mere magical coincidence; therefore we must have been were brought here, for some purpose. Someone is playing games with us. But there is too much work to do back home, in Babylon, for me to be delayed here!

Though you do not know the entire truth, any information at all would help me. I have heard mentions elsewhere on this message board of...kidnappings, of enemies, of some kind of organization. Might they not be the ones behind this?
