Information Request

I require all relevant information on the individuals referring to themselves as Maleficent, Jafar, and Hades.

[identity profile] notacube.livejournal.com 2008-11-10 06:05 am (UTC)(link)
None of them have ever made any entries on their own journals, and the only message board entries they have contributed to are the two recent ones. The journal activations are recent. What stands out about them in contrast to the other newcomers to this city is that there is no record of them having entered the city.

For the moment, I can only give you the information available in the electronic network, but I am seeking an audience with Maleficent.

[identity profile] keychainheart.livejournal.com 2008-11-10 06:40 am (UTC)(link)
What are you going to do with it?

[identity profile] keychainheart.livejournal.com 2008-11-10 06:49 am (UTC)(link)
Well... Okay.

I fought all of them before. Maleficent's this really mean witch who can turn into a dragon, and Hades uses a lot of fire, probably because his head's on fire. It's bad if it's not. Well, bad for him. And then Jafar uses magic a lot.

Like Aero and Reflect?

Well it kind of does both here, but anyway, it would help probably. It doesn't really last long enough, though.

I wish I knew when they were from.

I don't think they like the Organization much. They seemed to be fighting a little back on their own worlds. And I think Maleficent can travel from world to world, too. I don't know if she still can here.

...Well, they just want to take over everything, so talking to them doesn't help.

Well, I suppose I can tell you a thing or two about them - don't ask how I can though. Bit complicated that. Really rather not.

Right then. Let's see...

S'pose let's start with Maleficent herself. Ah, now there's a villain. You ever read fairy tales? That's what you got to think of with this one.

She's a wicked fairy, if I remember right. Maybe kind of a sorceress. Dark sense of humor, nasty temper. Don't get her mad, or you'll find yourself in for a shock or cursed.

Yeah, she's the sort who gets pissed off if you don't invite her to a party and crashes it anyways, and casts a curse on your newborn child.

She can teleport, shapeshift, even turn into a dragon. Yeah, wouldn't want to bump into her in a dark alley.

Well, that's quite a living. I don't particularly know much about magic. It doesn't exist in my universe, but in stories.

I'd say she's pretty powerful in my opinion, only one of the three that might beat her out is Hades.

To put it frankly, Hades is a god. I mean that literially. He is a greek god that ruled over the Underworld. The Lord of the Dead.

He's quite the comedian, but has probably the worst temper of the three of them. He could turn anyone to cinders. He uses some kind of... well, fire "magic" to you, I suppose.

There's slight problem, however, with destroying him: He's immortal. You won't get very far.

Ah, Jafar.

From the city of Agrabah. A vizier to the Sultan, but he was one of those evil plotting behind your back types. You know them?

He wanted the throne, of course. Power wise, hmm.. well that would depend on when he's arrived here from. He was more a potion maker, if I remember right, but gains the powers of an actual sorcerer... then, well, from his picture I don't think we're dealing with that. So, never mind that.

Rather odd for them all to be working together like this... they aren't from the same, ah, places you see, so that's rather interesting, actually...

[identity profile] ttlynotblue.livejournal.com 2008-11-10 07:25 am (UTC)(link)
Why would you be interested in them? You're not planning to get in on their mischief now, are you?

[identity profile] ttlynotblue.livejournal.com 2008-11-10 08:16 am (UTC)(link)
Oh. Well, that's COMPLETELY different. What would you like to know? Jafar was my master at one point...

Hmmmmmmmmm, let me see... Last I had seen him he was an all powerful genie. Not to be too discouraging, but I'm not quite sure you stand much of a chance against the phenomenal cosmic powers of another genie. -assuming his currently is a genie that is, I'm not quite sure at this point. He doesn't seem to recall making that particular wish.

I heard people can arrive here from different points in time, so it's quite possible for him to still be mortal. In that case, before he was a genie, he was most power sorcerer in the world. That's probably even less encouraging, but maybe you could out wit him like Al did. You'll never beat him brawn alone.

... I wonder if he even has my lamp. That would make all the difference. Without it he was only a moderate sorcerer as far as I know. He controlled people by hypnoses using his staff.

Maleficent is a wicked fairy, I think. There were a lot of other good fairies and she was their sister, but she went bad for some reason. Um, she's really powerful, she made a princess sleep for a hundred years before a prince broke the curse. Fakir says there's actually a lot of different versions of the story but I don't know them all... I'm just thinking of the ballet.

Hades is the Greek name for the god of the underworld, I think. And the underworld for the Greeks isn't like hell or not a bad place, it's where everybody goes when they die, but then there's different parts of it for good people and bad people. Hm, um, Hades has a lot of god-powers I guess, um, specific ones... oh! He had a helmet that could make him turn invisible! And, um... I think he has a really nice chariot that can go between the living world and the dead world and stuff...

I don't know Jafar, I don't think... Unless you know what story he's from, then maybe I could figure it out a little...

I don't know anything about them, really, except that they sure seem to think they can rule over us without a fight.

[identity profile] stretchmeout.livejournal.com 2008-11-11 03:16 am (UTC)(link)
Hey, long-sword. Don't worry about it...I'll go ahead and beat them up for you.~

[identity profile] notacube.livejournal.com 2008-11-11 04:05 am (UTC)(link)
Even if you do have confidence in your abilities, wouldn't it be more advantageous in general to combine efforts? If you agree with one and other it seems illogical not to pool resources to reach your goals.

But on that, does anyone know what these three actually intend to do? It seems to me that all that has been argued up until now is semantics and whether they have the right to call themselves the rulers of this city. If there is to be a battle of some kind, shouldn't be over something more important than titles? I do not believe that this matter has been adequately explored from either side yet to destroy any chance of negotiations.

[identity profile] stretchmeout.livejournal.com 2008-11-12 01:18 am (UTC)(link)
Hmph! Doesn't matter what they want to do.

We'll just have to stop them.

[identity profile] notacube.livejournal.com 2008-11-12 02:04 am (UTC)(link)
I think it should matter a great deal what they want to do. Maleficent was correct in that this city has been without proper leadership and if we do not yet know her policies, then we do not know if we disagree with them. Supposing she meant to rule the city fairly? If that were indeed the case, then much of this argument would be unnecessary.

[identity profile] stretchmeout.livejournal.com 2008-11-13 02:41 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, but...if we just stop them...then it won't matter what they want anyway, because they...can't?

Man, you're thinking about this way too much. It's getting kind of annoying.

I'M AFRAID I HAVE NO OUTSIDE INFORMATION ON THESE THREE. FROM WHAT I HAVE SEEN, HOWEVER, THEIR CONFIDENCE CAN LIKELY BE USED AGAINST THEM.

I ASSUME WE ARE DUE FOR ANOTHER MEETING?
