Indeed it could be. We spoke with him briefly about the circumstances of the Uchiha Massacre, and the difficulty he'd encountered--with some luck, he'll be able to do things differently enough to prevent Sasuke's vendetta, perhaps even bring him along as a subordinate; from the recent events you mentioned, it seems that Sasuke fighting alongside us would be far preferable to the situation as it stands now.
