Hey! Donald, Goofy! If you're out there, please come find me! That was stupid to leave me behind!

I'm at the Vanaheim gate, and I'm very, very confused.

...You have a friend named Goofy?! Or are you just being mean and calling them that?

[identity profile] amcgees-alice.livejournal.com 2007-03-17 01:46 pm (UTC)(link)
I do believe his "dog-friend" is Goofy. Quite an interesting tale.

Do these things normally happy in the worlds you're from?

[identity profile] writingknight.livejournal.com 2007-03-17 03:56 pm (UTC)(link)
So...the dog is...Goofy. That makes Donald the duck, then?

What sorts of things? Name-calling?

Have you noticed that everyone is smarter than you?

[ooc: *stabs typo*]

[identity profile] amcgees-alice.livejournal.com 2007-03-18 12:48 am (UTC)(link)
No, I mean creatures that normally wouldn't talk talking to you? I thought that was exclusive to my, ah, fantasies.

[identity profile] theblind-bandit.livejournal.com 2007-03-18 01:52 am (UTC)(link)
Talking animals can be very smart.

Even the jerks!

[identity profile] chocolatefetish.livejournal.com 2007-03-18 06:16 am (UTC)(link)
... Talking animals? You must have a very "special" idea of smart.

[identity profile] writingknight.livejournal.com 2007-03-18 09:35 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, actually...yes. Well...until recently. But the story ended in my world...but while the story was still continuing, I had a ballet teacher that was a cat, and there was other animals like anteaters and snakes that went to my school, too. And a good friend of mine is a duck that can turn into a girl.

So...yes, I suppose you would say it was normal. Or, rather, that nobody ever realized how odd it was.

[identity profile] writingknight.livejournal.com 2007-03-18 09:37 am (UTC)(link)
'Goofy' is...well. It's sort of an odd name. ...He's...smarter than you?

...Um...I'm sorry...?

[identity profile] writingknight.livejournal.com 2007-03-18 09:38 am (UTC)(link)
HEY!

What's wrong with talking animals?!

[identity profile] chocolatefetish.livejournal.com 2007-03-18 10:24 am (UTC)(link)
Nothing, if you're about eight years old.

[identity profile] writingknight.livejournal.com 2007-03-18 10:29 am (UTC)(link)
Hmph! Idiot. We have several talking animals in this city. I have a feeling they'd take offense.

[identity profile] theblind-bandit.livejournal.com 2007-03-18 12:08 pm (UTC)(link)
Since when do talking animals have to be a childish thing?

Man, that's pretty presumptuous. I hope one kicks your butt now.

[identity profile] amcgees-alice.livejournal.com 2007-03-18 12:17 pm (UTC)(link)
I see. Well, thank you for that information. The more I hear about these other places, the more they pique my interest. Almost wish I could see such things myself.

[identity profile] writingknight.livejournal.com 2007-03-18 04:26 pm (UTC)(link)
So do I. It's funny, I used to never even think about leaving my town, and now I want to travel and see all of these places I'm hearing about.

[identity profile] chocolatefetish.livejournal.com 2007-03-18 06:11 pm (UTC)(link)
... That's just fucking weird.

Somehow, even if this whole place isn't a hallucination of some kind, I very much doubt they're furry little geniuses.

[identity profile] chocolatefetish.livejournal.com 2007-03-18 06:12 pm (UTC)(link)
Since always.

Friendly, aren't you?

[identity profile] theblind-bandit.livejournal.com 2007-03-18 08:55 pm (UTC)(link)
You wouldn't be friendly to anyone calling you childish, especially if they thought they were sounding smart about it.

[identity profile] writingknight.livejournal.com 2007-03-18 09:38 pm (UTC)(link)
They're as varied as humans are! She's not THAT stupid, just a bit naive.

[identity profile] writingknight.livejournal.com 2007-03-18 09:39 pm (UTC)(link)
I see...wait. 'Other worlds'? So you've been traveling to other worlds before this one?

[identity profile] thunderknives.livejournal.com 2007-03-19 02:18 am (UTC)(link)
Poor little boy, all alone in a brave, new world.

Would you like a hug?

[identity profile] aensland-love.livejournal.com 2007-03-19 02:19 am (UTC)(link)
They left you behind? Some friends they are!
