Of course it is more than understandable that you would require an explanation; I will give you the full-length version when I do so with Aki, but for now I will simply tell you that Sephiroth, the man Rufus plans to meet, is by our time a certifiable maniac with a ridiculous amount of power, having caused a substantial amount of damage to the world.

You will thus understand how meeting him would be unacceptable without further thought.

Understood. It may be difficult to stall him. Not only is our train on time, but Rufus himself seems to have a very strong will. Short of physically slowing down the train itself it seems unlikely we will be able to inhibit him from arriving to meet Sephiroth.

That seems mildly unsafe. Perhaps we'll try for the more traditional method of destroying the engine.

The man survived being in a 70-story building that was attacked by a WEAPON, which then in turn collapsed on him. I think he'll do just fine with a train derailing. We're not concerned about public safety either, we are concerned about Rufus'.

Ah, you're right there. I'm sure I don't have to tell someone of your expertise this, but remember to be careful. Impeding Rufus is high priority, but maintaining his health is higher.
