As I explained to Tseng, Sephiroth will most likely be meeting us at Central Station to join our group.

I'm pretty much joining Tseng in this moment.

Reno, he is not insane and may never become so without a catalyst. I refuse to let a valuable Shin-Ra employee like Sephiroth be loose out there and potentially turned against us.

Then I was correct in assuming that this Sephiroth was not of our time period. However, there is still the risk--as Tseng has mentioned--that Vincent has told him something. While I don't think Vincent is that much of an idiot to tell him something like that, there's always the chance it might've slipped.

And while Kadaj can be a blithering idiot, he's had moments of intelligence in the past and there's always the chance that he could persuade Sephiroth into believing him. If Sephiroth finds out about what happens, he will likely begin to spiral into the position he was in when he killed your father.

While I agree that Sephiroth would be a valuable asset to our cause here in this Paixao place, I am a Turk and I am responsible for your safety. Let us do our goddamn job and keep you safe. If he ends up going insane like he did with the former President, there is the posibility he could turn on you. I am not all that willing to permit this to happen, and would prefer it if you let us at least look into his stability before you meet with him.

Yes, you were correct in that. I understand the risk and the acceptable loss associated with this as well, Reno. When I leaped out, I didn't know Tseng and Elena were down there with their net guns. I do what I feel is necessary.

There is no Jenova here though, Reno. That spiral may never come in this case.

I fully intend for you and the other Turks to be there. I never said you all would not be. I would not walk into such a potentially dangerous situation without you all with me.

We will have to go against him if this persists. I am quite enamoured of living. Meeting Sephiroth, therefore, seems counterproductive.

I volunteer to go and scout Sephiroth once he get to the Central station while you and Raf might go to get Rufus. Observe him or something, to assess the situation. I quite like living myself, full of life and all, quite fun, but there is the possibility that Sephiroth might make a good ally if we can assure that he won't go insane. Again.

... It's a good idea, but not one I would send you for. I shall go myself; not because I do not trust you to perform the task, but merely because I shall likely have one of those delightful debates I occasionally have with the President upon my seeing him, and I would like to be able to give a balanced viewpoint on the situation.

I intend to engage Sephiroth in conversation and inform him that the President has been delayed, and then I shall organise a future rendezvous. Whether we hold to it depends on the impression I get. You can inform Rufus of this if he is worried about seeming rude for not appearing.
