Well I mean, you're not just going to be able to storm the castle riding a gallant steed announcing you're there to defend your friends' honour, get my drift?

In fact, that's probably a sure fire way to get killed, and sounds pretty dumb out loud, doesn't it? ( which, apparently... axel is not game for, sora )
