Geez, what's with you people? Why are you wasting your breath on the mayor?

Have you all forgotten how we're actually trapped here? The whole castle thing? We're pretty much being held hostage here! Not to mention what about all that worlds unravelling stuff? Doesn't that concern you people at all?

I mean, if you all want to be as delusional as the mayor, go nuts, but I'm going to find this supposed top floor and wipe the floor with the guy responsible for all this.

Why stay here? This place probably isn't even real! Who wants that? If they really want to live somewhere else, they should just get someone to bring them to their world instead when we find the way outta here.

Have you considered that maybe some of them don't want to return to their worlds? I've had several plans who've chosen to stay on another planet rather than the one they lived on before.

Maybe they could just... go somewhere else? Hell, I might let anyone come back to my Netherworld, if they wanted. Anything is better than this place.

The thing about the universes, Laharl, is that they're not supposed to be connected. Once, maybe, but no more of that. It's not as simple as deciding to go somewhere else. Time is needed, research is needed, and a way through without damaging the fabric of reality is needed, too.

And wouldn't you know it, most of the technology I have access to isn't currently working like it should. [grumpy about his TARDIS being affected? Why, yes. Yes, he is]

I donno exactly. I'm not a dimensional gatekeeper. It's just... a magical gateway. The gatekeeper makes sure you get to the place you wanna go.

So, what kind of technology stuff?

Maybe there's a way we'd be able to get people to your world, then, rather than sending them back to theirs automatically. It's definitely worth a look, I'd say.
