While I have several questions about this place I've found myself in, it seems that there are more important matters to turn my attention to beforehand. My name is Natalia Luzu Kimlasca-Lanvaldear. The city looks as though it’s been through quite a lot recently. Are there any injured who need tending to? If there’s anyone in need of healing, please, let me know. I’d like to help, however I might be able to. I know I've only just arrived, but I would like to do whatever I can. It seems as though the city needs whatever help it can get at the moment.

I got brought here, just like you did. I've just been here awhile now. Tear, Guy and Jade are here too.

[...well and Florian, but Luke has a feeling he's vanished. Probably best to not confuse her with that yet.]

[She's unsure of how to explain it. Perhaps it's best to say nothing at all, and for the time being, focus on just how good it is to hear his voice.]

It's been some time since we've last seen each other, that's all.

[Her voice warms, her smile almost audible.]

Tear, Guy, and Jade as well? How long have you all been here?

It has...? What were you doing before you came here, Natalia?

And, well, it varies. I've been here the longest... I kinda lost track of exactly how long though. Doesn't help calendars here are completely different...

[She pauses, considering how best to answer.]

I was preparing to attend your coming of age ceremony, though it had been some time since we'd seen each other. What about you, Luke? What were you doing before you came to this place?

[Is it possible that he's been here all this time?]

[...Ah. That. He knows about that, actually, and he knows he was going to miss it.]

Natalia...

It's been over a year, you mean. It's okay; I know.

The last thing I remember was freeing Lorelei... then I was here.

[She lightly touches her fingers to her lips, though unseen, and her voice comes halting when she chooses to respond.]

Oh, I see... so you've already been told.

[Of course; he must have heard it from one of the others, and yet...]

If the last thing you remember is freeing Lorelei -- then, is it same for the others? Have we all come here from different points in time? How is that possible?

Yeah...

[Well... half told, half figured out.... from a previous time Natalia was here actually. Not even going to try to explain THAT yet, however.]

It sounds pretty impossible, huh? But Tear I think is from around the same time as you. Jade is after Eldrant, that much I'm sure of. Guy though... the last thing he remembers was heading to Aramis Springs to wait for me.

So Guy has missed quite a bit. I understand now, thank you for explaining, Luke. I wonder why, though? Perhaps there's some particular reason as to why we've all been brought here from different moments in time?

I suppose that doesn't matter just now. At least we're in good company.

Anyways, do you have any idea where you are right now, Natalia?

I'm near the gate at Muspelheim. What happened to reduce this city to ruins? Do you know?

We were all in the city when it happened.

There was a bang... it could have been an explosion, I guess. The next Tear and I knew the domes that covered the city started collapsing.

That's terrible... I wonder what caused it.

[They've both certainly seen their share of ruined cities.]

I wanted to aid the refugees, but a man -- he didn't give me his name -- told me that the help of outsiders would be unwelcome.

[Yeaaaah... and he sighs a little.]

Yeah, they've decided they don't like us--not that they ever really seemed to before all that much, but what happened to the city made it that much worse.

Do they think it was an outsider who caused it, then? I suppose that mentality would make sense...

I'm pretty sure they do. ...And, to be honest, I really wouldn't be surprised if they were right. I haven't met anyone native to this place who seemed like they'd want to try to destroy it.

I see. How unfortunate, that something like this had to happen....

Though, there's a lot more going on here than you realize... I'll explain later.

You said you were in Muspelheim, right?

Of course; I look forward to it.

That's right, Muspelheim -- near the gate.

Figures. That's clear on the other side of the city.

We're currently to the far southwest. I don't think it matters which way around you go, but you want to travel around the outside of the city. I wouldn't try going through it; parts can't be safe and it would probably end up taking longer. Once you've made it around, keep going to the southwest, through the fields there. A lot of us are camping by a small abandoned church out there.

...Maybe I should come meet you...
