Y’know, when a girl's dragged out of her own dimension into another one, she kinda likes to be asked about it first. Or told, at least. Don't get me wrong--I'm always up for an adventure, but. Even this is kind of extensive for my tastes. And I have pretty unique tastes.

Like, this place isn't full of memories masquerading as live people, which is pretty cool, but it isn't full of chocobos or Hypello either, which makes it less cool. There is some nifty machina, like this communicator not-really-spherical thing, but... nothing else I really recognize. Not even any tall buildings like in Bevelle. [there's a frown in her voice.] But Shiva knows I really don't wanna be there right now.

Moving on.

[and now her tone changes; all the mischievousness.]

Anyways, does this place have a name? It can't not have a name, right? That'd be silly, and a place that brought the Great and Awesome Rikku here can't be silly. Because I'm totally not silly--if I'm gonna be on an adventure in another dimension, I gotta be serious and calm and stuff. Like Auron!

[she struggles to make her voice serious, but she can't keep it up, and she giggles as she reverts back to her token cheerful tone. then her voice fades to something like puzzlement.]

Hey, can anybody even hear this? [she taps the microphone, getting up close--she's a little loud, now.] Is it on right? I thought so, but just in case--

[she raises her voice, almost yelling now.] Hello? Hello! Hey, hi there, I'm Rikku! Anybody there? Answer me, okay?

[she laughs, pulling back from the microphone. the feed cuts.]

I know it sounds strange, but I promise it's true. I don't know how we got here, but the city is called Paixao. And it's... kind of inside a castle.

Uh... okay, so wait. This weird dimension thing we're trapped in now is a castle. Wasn't the Farplane enough?!

I know. It's weird. But that's what it is. We've been trying to escape for a long time.

It's... hard to explain, and I don't know all that there is to know about it, but from what I have seen, we have to climb all of the floors and we only have access to some of them.

Yes. And Tidus and Jecht, too. [ note, she didn't call him 'sir jecht.' ] And... my father was here. [ was. and isn't anymore. ]

[klutziness]

O-kay. So it's like a puzzle we gotta figure out?

[le gasp!] Shiva, who would've thunk it! So... [suddenly all mischievous] You and Tidus are dating, right?

Mhm. [ and she's been here for so long that sometimes it's hard to imagine getting back out.

and then rikku mentions tidus and dating in the same sentence and yuna blushes. ]

Mmmm I guess so? We haven't really talked about it. But he's living with me now. And you can, too. I don't want you staying on the streets.

[klutziness]

[rikku just literally squeals]

Eeeeee Yunie! I'm so happy for you guys! And oh no--I'm not butting in on your bliss. I can take care of myself just fine.

Rikku! [ if this thing had video capabilities, she'd have her hands over her face in embarrassment. ] Don't stay on the streets! We had another friend of mine staying with us for a while. You wouldn't be intruding. The apartments are big enough for multiple people.

[ pleaaaaase. don't make her beg :c ]

and she just kind of pouts at nothing]
