Hello? Wha-- Oh, I think it's on. Ahem, ah, anyone hear me? That is how this is supposed to work, right?

Anyway, whatever. My name's Simba. I'm... well, I'm pretty new here. I ran into a couple of my buddies here, but do I know anyone else here?

--Right, this is probably gonna reach people who don't know me at all. Hi! I'm Simba. I'm a lion. And I... am really confused about where this place is supposed to be. I don't suppose any of you can talk me through it?

What was happening in the Pride Lands? Before you came here?

Well... we're getting most of the herds back into the Pridelands, and the weather was getting better. After the rain, we had a lot of water. Things are starting to grow back.

It'll look familiar, then.

Has anyone told you about this place? The floors and everything?

[onetrueking]

Pumbaa's started to tell me about it.

Wait a minute - what do you mean, "familiar"? Can you get to the Pridelands from here?

Pumbaa? Did anything he said make any sense?

What he did explain made enough sense to me.

[Shrug!]

Pumbaa's surprisingly insightful, I think.

Maybe he's going senile by my time...

Did he say anything about the other floors?

Not yet. He said someone else could better explain it. Timon was starting to tell me all the other details, but I figured I'd introduce myself first, at least.

...Probably better you didn't hear it from Timon, either.

The whole city's connected to a bunch of other...worlds, I guess. They're not real though, everyone says they're just made from memories or something. You can get to them if you go to the right place.

One of them...is the Pride Lands. Right about the time you left it.

Made of memories? What do you even mean by that?

Everything looks the same, but it's not the real place.

It's a mirage?

Yeah Simba, it's a mirage.

[You can hear Kovu rolling his eyes.]

A mirage isn't really there. These Pride Lands are there, just not...the real place. They're just some fake that's part of the castle.
