Well... I'm sure some have realized this, but I thought it was worth mentioning, just in case some of you don't know...

But, well, I have good news and bad news.

The good news is, definitely no nightmares outside the city. Haven't had a single bad dream out here. Not one. And I'm fairly sure it's not a coincidence.

As for the bad news... Well, I'm afraid taking advantage of the fact that this plague of nightmares doesn't seem to extend outside the city is more than a bit difficult right now. Our wonderful friend, the Mayor, had rather poor timing to decide he didn't want anyone leaving his fair city.

And sorry, 'fraid I have no idea what's causing them. The TARDIS hasn't detected anything, but that's not saying much, these days, unfortunately. She's still rather under the weather, so to speak... especially with all the scans I've been trying to do of outside. No real good news on that front either, unfortunately. Still haven't managed to detect anything planet sized out there...

The only thing I've figured out so far is that it probably isn't the Organization. That was just logic.

While they do seem to have some rather interesting tricks of their sleeves, this somehow doesn't seem quite like their style, does it?

I dunno about that, but if they can sample our memories anyway, why would they need to give us nightmares?

Well, I could argue they don't exactly appear to have a lot of reasons for much of anything they do. Why kidnap people for these so called "experiments"? Why torture them for no apparent reason?

They're treating us like pets, just like the fal'Cie did back home.

But giving us nightmares isn't gonna do anything but waste their time. If they wanna know what we're scared of, they can find that out without hoping we all say something about our dreams.

And don't you think it'd be pretty stupid of them to put us all on edge like this? It'll just make it harder for them to try to collect us to be their lab rats.

Now, I did say I wasn't so sure it was the Organization. At least, nothing obviously points a finger at them, but they're not really a predictable bunch, so it's a bit hard to say for certain, is what I'm saying.

But, yes, I do agree that this doesn't seem like their handy work. The question is, who's is it?

I don't know what kind of people are here who could give everyone nightmares. Or who would.

Well, there is a rather unsavoury bunch of folks currently staying in City Hall. Whether or not they could pull something like this off, I'm not too sure, but, well, you never know.

How do you think we could figure that out?

But we can still go up to the other floors right? I don't think anyone is telling us we can't go up there.

Oh, yes, nothing stopping us there, well, other than the dangerous some of those floors offer, but it's just getting out of the city that's a little more difficult right now.

Yeah, but we don't really need to get out of there, for the moment, right?

Well, that depends on how bad your dreams are right now, I suppose.

But then, couldn't you just go to the other floors? No need to get out the city by the gates.

Unless he decides to block that too.

TARDIS..? *She's thinking, a small gasp and you can practically hear her face light up.*

Are you the Doctor!? *She sounds far too excited, she's heard a lot about you from her mum.*

[And you can practically hear that the Doctor has an eyebrow lifted.]

Well, yes, actually. That would be me.

*Hear that static, that's the sound caused by Sky getting really excited, she's shorting out the mic.*

The one Sarah Jane traveled with? Rani and Clyde told me about you! Well, that they met you, twice. It was a little confusing, as they said the second time you were a different person.

I'm Sky, Sky Smith.

.......O-oh... Is that right? [He doesn't sound like he knows what Sky is talking about at all.]

Well! It's a pleasure to meet you, Sky Smith.

I'm afraid you've caught me at a bit of a bad time... Quite literally, that is. I haven't yet met Rani and Clyde.

Oh. *She's a little less enthused now. Probably better for the electronics if she stays less enthused.* Well, I suppose that is something to be expected, with time travel involved.

It isn't a concern because they aren't here yet. I'm sure once they figure out I'm gone they will come to find me. *She sounds very sure of that.*

Thought you said there wasn't anything out there last time.

Well, yes. And that hasn't changed, is what I'm saying. There is still nothing to speak of out there. No planets, moons, stars... maybe a bit of dust, but that's a lot harder to scan from here. Still not giving up though.

How wide ranging are the scanners you've got?

Oi, have you forgotten that I'm running about? Two Doctors are better than one, I always say. Well, I don't say that, but I could say that if I felt like it.

Nope! Happens all the time. Well, sort of. It used to.

*Yeah... You're not helping her get unconfused at all. More long pauses as she thinks about this.*

But... if you're him... why do you sound different? And shouldn't one of you know what's happening here because the other of you lived it?

Rani and Clyde didn't explain this changing thing very well. *Probably, Sky surmised, because they didn't have a clue how this worked.*

Still reporting, and investigating. We recently set free a bunch of aliens being used as slaves to make a rubbish computer to sell.

I do my best not to bring her too much trouble on my own. *Best isn't an exact science, as she still botches passing as human more often than she'd like. It's so complicated pretending to be normal. Also the whole being here thing, instead of on Earth.*

I take it you're the earlier Doctor of the two here, given you sound younger? *Sky your logic is flawless, but so very very wrong.*

Ah, Marco can stick it in his ear. If folks want out, they'll find a way out. Trust me. Besides, you got in and outta the city without problem, right?

To be honest, I haven't been in and out in awhile. I'd really rather not have nightmares, if I can avoid it, thanks. I don't doubt that many of you can find your way out easily enough, but Marco is certainly making it a little more tricky.

Oh, just low on power, I'm afraid. She's doing better than she was when first got here, but still can't de-materialize.
