[There's some static as it is turned on. Still very new to this communicator box, but she thinks it's on. Her friend Kakyuu showed her how to make a voice message. But, just to be sure--]

If the light is on, that means it's working, right...?

[The timidness in her tone soon shifts to worry.] Papa? Are you there? It's me, Nana!

I made a friend, and we're both looking for you...

[She doesn't seem to be aware that this message is for all to hear.]

Scent? [stares] By...smell?

Your nose must be a lot more powerful than mine! I never smelled any strong scent from him. I know Papa has...a clean smell. Soap.

And...something else. I don't know what the other smell is called. I've never seen where it comes from.

Not to worry. Knowing that he's human will be a great help in finding him, if he really is here.

But that does beg the question...do you know what you'll do if he isn't?
