Ack!
Hi!
My name is Mikage Aya - I'm looking for directions and friends of mine.
I live with a hot guy named Touya, in Niigata - and man, is that getting redundant - and I'm now stuck, here, which... I get the gist it's not Japan, or even Earth.
This is a problem, 'cause, well... it's dark out and this place is strange, and I haaate it. And I have stuff to do elsewhere, because this is kind of disrupting my entire life.
I'm also wondering if anyone knows anything about celestial maiden legends in the area. Can't hurt to look while I'm stuck here >>''
Anyone know a way to get home?

Celestial maidens are ten'nyo - they're angels, of a sort, who descend from heaven for... some reason. Ceres hasn't told me, and nor has anyone else. Either way, in all variations of the legend - there's variations all over
the worldEarth about why she was there, but it's usually to bathe.Then some man comes, and steals or hides her robes - which prevents her from returning to heaven. So she marries him, have kids, so on. Sometimes she finds the robes and goes to heaven, sometimes taking her kids and husband with her, sometimes leaving them behind. Sometimes, she dies on earth, or she just resigns herself to her fate and wastes away.
In other cultures... sometimes it's a fur pelt, or a pearl necklace, or something else stolen. There are many, many variations in Japan - and I've met most of the descendants of these celestial maidens.
I have to find Ceres' robes.

So! What's happening in the future? Are loose socks still in style? Bleached hair? Pierced ears? Karaoke bars?
Have huge chunks of Tokyo been destroyed?

And no, Tokyo's still in one piece. o O;

That's good - my family lives there, and they put dangerous vectors in the water supply - it killed a whole lot of people, and put many lives in danger. They're not doing very nice things. I'm kind of worried over what they'll do next.

Hmm. Oddly I don't remember that ever happening. Hope it never does, though.
