It's... well... kind of complicated, actually. But basically... it's a place people from all kinds of different places--different worlds, they say, have been brought to, against their will. Sometimes people can disappear back home though, but they can also sometimes find themselves back here again. Sometimes they remember, but most of the time, they seem to forget.
