In any case, it makes one wonder whether their experiment with you was successful or not. For what value is there in the ability to make one lose all hope? That is what occurred, isn't it?

Something terrible occurred, and as a consequence, the bodies of my companions and those of my father's court changed to consist entirely of sand. Now, seeing this...I cannot help but wonder if there might not have been a like event here, in Paixao, but with Light, instead, as the contaminant.

Well, we do not have to do anything. I am merely trying to get to the root of the matter, but I shall desist, if it bothers you.
