I still don’t like this whole… sleeping thing. Is it really necessary? You lose so much time of the day if you sleep it away like that! I would much rather be outside in the snow or be doing just about anything else whatsoever than sleeping.
Especially since I continue to have those annoying dreams that humans have…
( she sounds bitter and annoyed rather than tired )
I’m not entirely certain I like this body anymore.

[Voice]
Though I don't really find dreams annoying. I think they're rather nice. Well, unless it's a bad one. They're not so great. Have you been having bad dreams lately?
( audio )
Voice - Some static.
...Well, at home, here waking up is much less fun.
( audio )
Waking up here is fantastic. It's the going to sleep part that's uncomfortable.
Voice
I think my adventures at home are pretty grand, I don't need grander ones.
( audio )
Voice
Is that because you were never a child, never human, or both?
( audio )
I suppose both, really. I was a seedling, at one point, does that make me have been a child at some point? I hardly think it's the same thing, though.
Voice
I think that's more like a baby than a child, which isn't the same thing at all.
( audio )
Unless!
Did you change bodies as well, Luke?
Yes, that would be more like an infant than a child. I suppose I skipped over childhood and went right into adulthood.
Voice
Is skipping childhood a good thing?
...Wait, why are you talking as if you're the Doctor's TARDIS?
( audio )
It could be. I seem to be rather spectacular, after all, and I skipped mine.
Silly child. I'm talking as thought I'm the TARDIS because I am the TARDIS. That's my name. Well, one of them. Time And Relative Dimension In Space. That's me.
Voice
Really!? It's nice to meet you. Is it complicated navigating the temporal vortex while holding a conversation?
( audio )
Ah! It's lovely to meet you too, little miss Sky Smith! It's certainly draining when it comes to my power supplies, or rather, health consuming I should say. ( her voice gets small for just a moment ) Sometimes it burns... Talking is fun, though. I've never gotten to talk like this before, well, that's not entirely true. I did before this body died the last time I was within it. Which makes it interesting that I'm within it again anyway. But that's a whole other complicated mess and story that I'm not entirely certain where to begin on how to explain.
Unfortunately, I can't keep up with it anymore. I see things, I know things... But it's slower than I'm used to and it hurts from time to time... But I can't see as much as I used to. It causes me to feel... What is that emotion called... The one that causes your chest to tighten, heart rate to increase and breathing rate to increase?
( after a minute of thinking ) Ah, that's right...
Fear.

That does sound complicated... I didn't think a time machine could be put into a human body. *She also didn't think it was, she thought she was just talking to the TARDIS.* This world is amazing.
That's terrible, especially feeling fear. I- I don't really like fear, I like the other things I experience a lot better.

My, shall we say consciousness, should not be placed into the body of a human being. It burns up the body too quickly. Human flesh does not really... Sustain something like myself very well. Which is why I'm surprised I have not died already again.
Fear is complicated. Thrilling and undesired all at once. But I agree with you. I like the other things I have felt much better than fear. Well, apart from these nightmare things. They're dreadful, I highly suggest you avoid them if you can.

You still need it.

Box, noun — a container, case, or receptacle, usually rectangular, of wood, metal, cardboard, etc., and often with a lid or removable cover.
Does that clear it up for you?

( audio )
I wasn't asking what boxes are.

Are you quite certain? You did say the word "boxes" with a general tone of inquiry which leads me to believe you were questioning boxes.

[It's less of a question then it is a sort of equivalent of 'I should have guessed'.]

[Permavoice]
No, it's not your body, dear. But something is causing this.
